How long does the process take?

  1. Once you have provided the details (including the street addresses and phone numbers) for each location, you can usually expect the first draft within 5-7 days, excluding Sunday. This time frame may increase or decrease based on the volume of jobs. If there is an urgent need, I can expedite your order (first draft within 1-2 days) for an additional fee of $40.00.  Please note that I don't ship the maps until I receive the payment.  This may delay the final shipment if the check is not mailed promptly.

How do I figure the total cost?

Your final cost is based on the number of requested maps multiplied by the paper cost (Bond: $0.98/ea., Card Stock: $1.02/ea., Vellum: $1.06/ea.) plus the set-up charge of $35.00. If you are purchasing 100 maps or more, the set-up charge is waived.  Add $3.95 for standard shipping via USPS Priority Mail (2-3 day delivery)

How are the maps shipped?

Normal shipping method is via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail (guaranteed 2-3 day delivery).  The standard shipping cost is $3.95 to anywhere in the Continental U.S.  Please note that I don't ship the maps until I receive the payment.  This may delay the final shipment if the check is not mailed promptly.

Can I have the maps shipped overnight?

Expedited shipping is available for the rates below:

Federal Express Next Day:  

California, Nevada, Arizona - by 10:30am:  $25.18  /  by 3:00pm: $22.36

All other states - by 10:30am:  $31.08  /  by 3:00pm:  $27.49

Please note that I don't ship the maps until I receive the payment.  This may delay the final shipment if the check is not mailed promptly.

What type of payment do you require?

Can I have written directions included in my map?

Written directions as well as accommodations can be included on the front of the map at no additional charge. Please provide the text for the directions or accommodations via e-mail. Two-sided printing can also be done for an additional ½ of the cost of the Card Stock (i.e., standard Card Stock price: $1.02./ea. + $0.56/ea. for second side = $1.58/ea.) Card Stock is the only paper available for two-sided printing.

If I don’t see a border or icon that I like, can I have something else? 

I have several thousand different types of icons to use, just let me know what you would like and I can try to match. Borders can also be changed. There is no additional charge.

Can I use the icon that the hotel, restaurant, or reception site uses? 

As long as I can get a usable copy from their web site or a hard copy of a fairly clear printout, I can include at no charge. I also have most all of the major hotel chain logos that I can use.

What if I don’t like the first draft? 

I will continue to make changes until you are completely satisfied. The first and seconds drafts are included in the price.  All additional drafts are provided at $15.00 each.  No payment is required until you are 100% satisfied.

Can I have you make a single map and then use my own printer? 

This service is offered for a single fee of $75.00 (this price may fluctuate depending on the complexity of the map).  The final maps can be sent via e-mail in the format of your choice (.cdr, .ai, .tif, etc.), or camera-ready artwork sent via priority mail. I cannot guarantee your satisfaction using this method, since I won’t be there to supervise the final result.

Can you design separate maps for certain guests? 

Yes. I would design a master map with all of the locations, then you can choose how many maps to print for each combination.  Additional charges may apply based on the design.  Call for more details.

Just give me a call and I can print them in 1 day. The only charge would be the paper cost and shipping.
